What a fun day today. Got some exercise this morning and got some good rest with my wife. You always need to relax every now and then.
I must say I am excited today since it is my 50th thing to be grateful for today. We are now well on our way to 1000 😀 Only 950 left. That should not be very hard. I love gratitude it is simple yet so powerful and it gives you energy that you thought you would never have. I read a great book yesterday that I most say was enlightning.
I most thank my friend Denis for the book it is really so simple to think great and be your true self! The book is called The Abundance book and is a easy read that you can keep alongside throughout the day! YOU CAN BUY IT BY CLICKING HERE.
Today I want to give my thanks to someone that we tend to forget that are there especially if we are healthy. Nurses are doing a tremendous job with their patients they make them smile and take good care of them so they can get healthy soon.
They are really caring about other people and they deserve a huge thank you from all of us for helping those who are not healthy and that are dying.
So why should we be grateful for nurses?
- They are amazing.
- They are there to save your life.
- They are your family.
- They smile.
- They help sick people and kids.
- They can be best friends.
- They take care of you when you need someone there while you feel very sick.
- They feed you.
- They care about you.
- They are passionate.
- They are smart.
- They take action.
- They help people with mental problems.
- They are there to assist you.
- They are dressed in different colors.
- They can give you courage.
- They help you give birth.
- They take care of the old people.
- They take care of people with mental illness.
- They have a lot of courage.
- They dedicate their life to help others.
- We could not be without them.
- They consult with you.
- They play with sick kids.
- And the list goes on and on….
Do you know a Nurse? Tell them how grateful you are for the work that they do and how important they are to our life, the nations life and the worlds life.
Experiences with Nurses?
Have you had great experiences with Nurses? Please share it with all of us 🙂 Let me tell you some stories. I were in the military for several years ago. I were sitting at a Operations Center and we took care of all the troops. When we had training going on we had Nurses and Doctors on alert. One Training we had someone with peanut allergy for some reason eat peanuts. Not a smart move. So we had to send a helicopter out to the middle of nowhere with a Nurse and a Doctor. I remember it so well when they landed the Nurse didn’t wait a second with giving him a shot and clearing up his airways. She did not doubt a second.
That is what Nurses do. They are action takers and courageous they take serious action when it is needed to make a decision in seconds and that is what saves life, millions of life every week world wide.
I have met lots of fantastic and great nurses. One of the most amazing ones I have met is Stephanie. She truly have the passion for making people love and care and that comes from her Nursing heart. Here is what Wikipedia says about Nurses 🙂
Nurses work in a large variety of specialties where they work independently and as part of a team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care. Nursing Science is a field of knowledge based on the contributions of nursing scientist through peer-reviewed scholarly journals and evidenced-based practice.
Consider to give love to Nurses!
Next time you see a Nurse let them know how important they are to our society! Give them a hug or a smile and understand all they go through to help you. I worked at a hospital for 3 years with technical things and I met so many amazing and caring nurses that gave it all of them self to make their patients life as good as possible when they went through whatever struggle they had.
I remember a lot of people that came to work with me on different projects were not able to deal with the surroundings of a hospital. Think about dealing with illness and sickness all day. You gotta be a very strong personality to get through that.
